Katy’s was thrilled to be invited to join Kenmore’s Baking for the Troops promotion last month.  Through an excellent facebook campaign, 250,000 My OH Mega cookies were pledged to be sent overseas to service men and women as a small token of our love and appreciation for their courage and dedication.  Thank you to all who participated! 

With every dozen cookies purchased, a $1 donation is made to Katy’s Homeland Family Support Fund, managed by Easter Seals.  These funds are used to assist:

o Female Veterans
o The Spouse and Children of Fallen or Disabled Veterans

In addition,

Katy’s announces a new partnership with the Student Veterans of America, an organization that works tirelessly to help veterans transition from combat to the classroom.  Katy’s will not only contribute funds to assist student veterans with schooling, housing, counseling and support, but is also committed to providing jobs mentoring opportunities to student veterans.
